Time to Step up!“Remove the cap!”
You’ve heard people mention it.
Here’s what it means: Currently the Pennsylvania film tax incentive program only allows $60million a year in tax credits. PA had such a successful year that we ran out of tax credits after only 6 months into the year. By uncapping the program, we have the potential for more long term projects and year-round projects, resulting in thousands of jobs in Pennsylvania.

State Senator Pileggi has announced the introduction of a bill to REMOVE the cap on the film tax credit program. PaFIA has worked with the Senator's office since we suggested uncapping the program in a meeting with Senator Pileggi in January of this year.

NOW it's time for you to get involved.
It is critical that your State Senator and your House member hear from you that this bill will generate work and business for you and that you want it to pass. There are just a few weeks left before the General Assembly leaves for the summer. We need your help to pass this legislation.

Remember, you have BOTH a State Senator AND a member of the House. Be sure to contact both.

Be sure to mention how the film tax incentive program has impacted you personally (and thank them for making it successful) then say that it’s time to allow the program to reach its full potential by UNCAPPING the program.
