TRANSFORMERS 2 casting
|
We are looking for Asian talent for the new Dreamworks feature film, “Transformers 2”, directed by Michael Bay.
Needed are Asian men and women, boys and girls, ages 7-65, for a scene set in a fictional Chinese city. Shooting will take place in the Bethlehem PA area, in the beginning of June 2008.
No acting experience necessary; both SAG and non-union talent will be considered. All roles are paid positions.
In addition to “real” people, we are also looking for any Asian talent with a military background.

BACKGROUND for "THE NAIL"
|
"The Nail" is an independent feature film being shot here in Philly during June 2008. It stars Tony Luke Jr. and will be directed by James Quattrocchi, produced by Leo Rossi.
"The Nail" is the dark story of an ex boxer who, under some unfortunate circumstances, is imprisoned for a number of years. Upon his release he is only able to afford a very modest apartment in a very low-class neighborhood. It is against this backdrop that he meets a young boy from an abusive household whom he begins to teach, amongst other things, how to box. It is an uncommon friendship and from it is born some uncommon respect. One thing leads to another, conflict ensues and the resolve is, to say the least, bittersweet.
They are looking for background actors for the project: NON-UNION, ALL ages, ALL types. We particularly need LATINO talent.
These are volunteer positions, but a great lunch will be provided. Most days, we can guarantee a "short" day.

We are casting for background talent for "HAPPY TEARS", a feature film starring Parker Posey and Demi Moore, AND for the Owen Wilson/Jennifer Aniston film, "MARLEY and ME
Shooting will in Philadelphia and the suburbs through the end of May.
These are SAG projects - you MUST be "paid-up" in your SAG dues.

Monthly OPEN CALL
|
Heery Casting holds a monthly open call for new actors on the second Monday of every month. This is for consideration for principal work.
DUE to staff scheduling conflicts, there will be NO OPEN CALL for the MONTH of MAY.
We limit the number of actors seen to allow ample time to see everyone fairly.
We do not see children under the age of 18 at our open calls. Appointments are only made through an agent or manager.
Adult actors with professional representation may also option to make an appointment for a private audition time for another day -- this appointment MUST be made by your agent or manager only.
To sign up for the open call, please call our office on the Saturday previous to the open call to reserve your spot.(215-238-9240, ext. 108) Call between the hours of 12 Noon and 1 PM ONLY. Be sure to listen for your assigned day and appointment time. That will only be assigned on extension #108.
Please bring with you:
5 copies of your professional picture and resume (with resume attached to the back)
A 1-2 minute monologue prepped at performance level.
The open call is a general audition for consideration for principal work.
Phone calls for the open call are ONLY accepted on the Saturday previous to the open call date. Please DO NOT call on any other day.
The next open call will be on Monday, June 9, with phone in registration on Saturday, JUNE 7. *Please note- your registration MUST be left on the correct extension (#108) or it will not be registered. Phone in time is between 12 Noon and 1 PM ONLY.

Need a "Tune Up?"

You get the audition, but not the job. And, getting honest feedback is rare.
So, at the request of many actors, we are now offering PRIVATE audition and feedback sessions.
You will be given copy for commercials, industrials, TV and feature films and receive candid, honest critiques of your work. Your session will be taped so you can see what the client sees.
A two hour PRIVATE session - $125.00
